Dumbass should have been actually DOING his job (being a DA) rather than using video games as an outlet to make a nuisance of himself
But unfortunately, journalism doesn't work on truth like that nowadays. They work on who gives the money and "gifts" to say good things about their products now
If you're a Wii 3rd party developer and want to make money, make a crappy game. Don't make good games like Boom Blox or Zack and Wiki because your efforts will be in vain.
@at the two above comments:
That's true. But think about it. There is a reason GOOD games on the ps3 and 360 haven't bombed. They are more experienced gamers. So they KNOW a good game from a bad game.
The problem is that when the Wii brought in the casual market, you have to keep in min...
Boom Blox had been marketed. And very well. And that commercial really tries to emphasis that it's a Steven Speilberg game. Wii owners just aren't buying. Plain and Simple
Because they know they were wrong.
And I hope you all remember that Aaron Greenberg said they only had a 5 million unit lead on the ps3. And that was back in early May when he said that. By time the summer is over, that lead might be cut to 3 million. Maybe even 2 million.
Just you guys wait until Little Big Planet comes out.
So what Mart/Pog. You're a 360 fanboy. And we damn sure didn't need some article to 'clear' that up now did we?
It's funny how people love to call foul when they themselves are no better
First off, with all the resources out there, the FIRST you hear of this is from a blog? Come on man.
Secondly, the story doesn't even have a source from where this rumor is coming from.
Third, the blogger doesn't even have his facts straight since he says Panzer Dragoon Orta and Jet Grind Radio were launch titles. Panzer Dragoon was NOT a launch title. And Jet SET Radio Future (the sequel to jet grind radio) was the early launch title.
Say whatever you like, just so long as you know Shane Kim and Aaron Greenburg spin facts too
Sony is beating MS 3 months - 2 months.
You better believe it's going to be 4 months -2 months once the June numbers come through
Yeah I remember lol
But that goes to show you that GTA4 is still seen as more of a Sony game than a MS game even with the MS version selling more. Which also tells you that it sold more due to the install base of the 360 compared to the ps3 in America
I'm guess I'm supossed to listen to MS and the excuse of "we have shortages" again right?
And for the record, The two previous months when the 360 outsold the ps3, they were much smaller margins.
It doesn't matter how much people say "wii is selling because it's casual friendly" or "wii is selling because of the controller".
The bottom line is the Wii is selling because it's the next gen system at a LAST gen price. Keyword, PRICE.
I'm fairly certain nintendo wouldn't be in this lead if it had the same prices as the 360 or the ps3.
When you get to the bottom of it, the end result is all about who costs you the LEAST amount of ...
Patcher has been on a role with his wrong predictions lately
I say that because they beat Sony in April and March. Yes I know Sony won January and February. But I seriously thought MS would have got May because neither system really put out a system seller in May.
But congrats to Sony.
I wish they MS or Sony do something about the Wii. I mean, I love seeing Nintendo thrive after being roughed up the last two console generations, But geez,
Edit @ guy below me- Yeah, I have no doubt that Metal Gear will give Sony a su...
But at least it was good for a reminder
I'm shocked that something like this didn't happen sooner
Are you joking?
I'm not sure what YOU saw. But the FF 13 trailer I remember seeing looked VERY inspired. And that "ugly girl" is named Lightning
It's because the Japanese are a more well-behaved people. They tie themselves to discipline and morals more than the western world. That's why you don't see mass murder like that on a daily basis. Their society is exposed to more violence and pornography than the west are. And it's far more extreme than ours. But because they are a more disciplined society, you don't see people being influenced by what that watch, read, or hear there. Unlike the west
That's what I was saying before.
This is a culture shock to Japan. They never dealt with Mass killing sprees before. Unlike the U.S. where we see murder as an almost everyday thing.
Tokyo had only around 50 murders last year. JUST around 50. Our major cities in the United States see thousands of murders per year.
Who knows, maybe if you ask the 360fanboys that were still here when Halo 3 first came out the same question you'll get your answer.
